Past EAD Board Members

The Edmonton Association of the Deaf (EAD) has been shaped by decades of dedicated board members who volunteered their time, skills, and leadership to serve the Deaf community. From the early 1950s to the present, these individuals held roles such as President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Directors of various committees. Many contributed to key developments in accessibility, social programming, youth engagement, and advocacy efforts that continue to benefit EAD members today.

Their collective efforts not only strengthened the organization internally but also helped build connections with local, provincial, and national Deaf networks. Their work laid the foundation for community growth, inclusive events, and the continued advancement of Deaf rights and cultural pride in Edmonton. This historical record honors the commitment, vision, and legacy of EAD’s past leadership.
