Stay active this summer with a week of sports, games, and team activities hosted by the Alberta Deaf Sports Association (ADSA).
Participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, and enjoy a variety of recreational activities in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Activities may include volleyball, badminton, pickleball, basketball, team-building games, and an Olympic Challenge Day.
Participants will be divided into children's (ages 6–11) and youth (ages 12+) activity groups.
*A daily lunch program is available for $10 per day.
Open to Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, CODA, ASL students, children, youth, and young adults.

Stay active this summer with a full week of sports, games, and recreational activities hosted by the Alberta Deaf Sports Association (ADSA). This free program is designed for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, CODA, and ASL students, with activities organized into two age groups: children (ages 4–11) and youth (ages 12+).

Children (Ages 4–11)
Children will enjoy a variety of fun, active, and age appropriate games throughout the week. Activities include mini volleyball, animal races, freeze tag, Shark Zone, Museum Guard, Bucketball, Kickball, Teacher Island challenges, Olympic Games Day, and other team games designed to encourage movement, cooperation, and confidence while having fun with friends.
Youth (Ages 12+)
Youth participants will take part in a range of sports and leadership focused activities throughout the week. Sports include volleyball, badminton, pickleball, basketball, Basketball 21, and Basketball 3-on-3, along with team building activities and an Olympic Challenge Day. The program provides opportunities to develop skills, stay active, build friendships, and enjoy friendly competition in an ASL-friendly environment.
This program provides a fun and welcoming environment where participants can stay active, build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and make new friends throughout the week. Registration is encouraged as space may be limited.

Keep your energy up during Gym Activities Week with the ASD Lunch Program.
Healthy, kid-friendly lunches will be prepared fresh each day by the ASD Catering Team and are available for participants attending the July 6–10 program.

Meals are designed to be nutritious, balanced, and accommodating of dietary needs whenever possible. Participants who wish to purchase lunch must register in advance and indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions.

Spend a summer evening playing games, enjoying milkshakes, and connecting with the Deaf community at EAD's ASL Friday Fun Night.

CornFest 2026 takes place at the Edmonton Association of the Deaf Community Centre and features food, family activities, lawn games, prizes, and community connection. The event site has been designed to be welcoming and accessible for participants of all ages.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities throughout the day, including a Kids Zone with face painting, an art booth, a bouncy castle, lawn games, and community activities. Flipside BBQ Food Truck will be on site with food and refreshments available for purchase.
A limited number of parking spaces are available for seniors, people with disabilities, and those with limited mobility. Accessible parking and a designated drop-off area are available near the event entrance.

Come hungry! Flipside BBQ will be on site during CornFest 2026 serving a variety of meals, appetizers, desserts, and gluten free options.

Menu items include pulled pork tater tots, spring rolls, mozzarella sticks, bao sandwiches, grilled pork belly, grilled chicken, shrimp dishes, desserts, and more. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.
In addition to the food truck, EAD will be serving corn and hot dogs for children while supplies last.
Food and beverages are available for purchase directly from the food truck and EAD concessions. Participants are encouraged to bring cash or other accepted payment methods.

Support the Edmonton Association of the Deaf by purchasing tickets for our CornFest 50/50 Raffle. Funds raised will help support EAD programs, community events, youth and senior activities, accessibility initiatives, and ongoing improvements to the EAD Community Centre.
The winning ticket will be drawn on September 19, 2026 at 8:15 PM during CornFest at the EAD Community Centre.
The winner receives 50% of total ticket sales, with the remaining proceeds supporting EAD's work in the community.
